Revolution John is an online journal publishing work on a rolling basis since October 2013.
The journal’s name comes from the founding editor’s ancestral grandfather John Mullins. John, who fought in the American Revolutionary War, settled in Appalachia on a military pension that included land ownership. He was well-known as a retired solider and referred to by friends and acquaintances alike as Revolution John Mullins.
